Shannon Ford
was born and raised in South Florida and graduated with a B.A. from Florida
International University. After winning various preliminary pageants in both MAO and USA, in 2002, Shannon was
crowned Miss Florida USA. She went onto compete for the title of Miss USA 2002 where she was awarded Miss
Photogenic. After completing her reign, she moved to the city that never sleeps, New York City, where she
lived and worked for five years.
In spring of 2007, Shannon returned to Florida where her love for pageants continued as she took on the
role of Co-Pageant Director for the Miss Miami USA/Teen USA and Miss Miami Beach USA pageants. Her success in her first
year as a Director/Coach was evident when Miss Miami Beach USA, Michelle Piwko, a first time competitor, reached Top 15 at
this year's Miss Florida USA pageant and Miss Miami Teen USA, Jillian Wunderlich, was crowned Miss Florida Teen USA 2008.
Shannon volunteers her time for the Young Professionals of the American Red Cross and is currently the
Regional Human Resources Manager for an international law firm based out of Miami. Recently, Shannon completed her first New
York City Marathon. To schedule a PageantReady™ consultation with Shannon Ford,
